Christmas tree in the house
Dec 22, 2006 in C’est la vie
I just handed in my thesis report to my supervisor which explains my absence these few days. It feels like a burden has been lifted from my shoulder. At least i don’t have to worry about my thesis for awhile in the holidays! Yay!!
I’m going to Karlsruhe later to the Weihnachtsmarkt ..again
Just want to visit a Christmas market again and also of course my second intention is to shop hehehehe…
Oh ya! Christmas tree is in the house for the whole week already but I didn’t have the time to post it here. I realised that christmas trees are actually quite expensive. The small ones which are about 1m high costs about 17€ and those big ones like more than 2m tall can reach a whooping price of about 50€ and above! Some people here really will fork out so much money just for a christmas tree! Might as well go to the forest and chop one tree yourself and drag it home heh
Since after christmas the trees will be thrown away anyway.
I’m coming home for chinese new year! Yippie!! It’s been a loooonnnng longgggg time since I last celebrated chinese new year at home! I still remembered that every year on the first day of chinese new year I woke up around 6am (for heaven’s sake!) to call home to wish everyone happy cny! It was so poignant listening to the cheerful chatter from the everyone on the telephone, thinking how I wish I could be there! sob sob ..The saddest thing was after the call I gotta dragged my lazy bum to uni for exams!! It has been like that for every year that I’ve been here.
BUT this year I’ll be finally flying home
So happy.
