Paris Day 2

by Yen posted February 8, 2007 category Going places

We have been blessed for the next two days in Paris because the weather was perfect and most important of all the sun was shining throughout the whole two days. Our very first destination of the day is…..Eiffel Tower Winking 2. I was totally in awe while I was walking towards the tower. It kept getting bigger and I kept convincing myself that it’s real and it was just before my eyes. I couldn’t help taking pictures of it while I was approaching the tower.See the sky? Not even a cloud on it.If you are going to visit the Eiffel Tower, it’s a must to go up the tower. However you have two choices, either by lift or walk up the flight of stairs (which is cheaper). Look at the flight of stairs leading up to the 2 level of the tower.

Being the vain me, I chose to wear skirt that day and although it looked sunny, actually it was quite windy and I was trying to keep my skirt from being blown up while walking up the tower.

The view from above is worth every bit of my energy. The morning sun was shining brightly. Look at the queue below if you wanna go up by lift.

Behold the view of the Seine river just in front of the tower.

Do you see what I see?

  1. I wanna go Paris… However, I don’t know when I will have the opportunity to travel Europe.

  2. Great gracious view on top……
Love to be there with you too……
    I have a question though??
Do you insert that mini sign of your signature on each photo? how do you do it??
    Share please….
    :)

  3. It’s so nice … Another question for you. I heard it is not that safe to travel in Paris. Many pick-pocketers. Is it true? I know it’s common, but what I heard is it’s rather happened more frequently in Paris than some other places .. :) Nice pictures …

  4. looloo: Thanks :) Yea, I insert my signature in every picture, a little tedious if you have many pictures :) You just use photoshop or whatever Programm you use to edit your pics, then just type in the text in the picture, however it would be wise if you save your picture as a copy so that you still have the unedited version.

yp: Thank you :) I heard alot of stories about pickpockets too. One of my friend got his wallet stolen, it’s normal in such a big city. Just be on guard all the time :)
