A moment of reflection

My colleague asked me whether I would wanna join his wife to parachuting at a height of 2000m, really jumping out from a plane type! No kidding! With a trainer on your back lah of course. It costs a whopping 160Euro inclusive 50hrs of training.

Well, the adventurous side of me told me to go for it! It’s once in a lifetime to give it a try.

But the chicken side of me said it’s too scary. The thing is I couldn’t even bring myself to jump off a 5m high diving tower whenever I go swimming. Heh..how am I going to make the 2000m height???

So I decided not to join. I know I’m not the type, who’s into extreme sport. I really admire those people who isn’t afraid just to try anything out just for the fun of it. It makes me ponder at this point of my life to think about ways of how to live a richer life. I wouldn’t want to lead a life where I have to work my ass off throughout my life and watch my life passes me by. Life is too short to let it just fly by.

I recall a saying I read somewhere which I find very true..

~ If you look back on your life
without a feeling of joy or sadness,
you have not started living your life yet. ~

Well..in order to put more zest into your life, it doesn’t mean that we’ll have to book the next round the world trip right away, although it would be nice Tongue Out 10. It can start with little little things in life like move your body around more! To feel adrenaline pumping in your body. I realized that after every hour of yoga, I feel more relaxed and at peace with everyone around me. Never underestimate the power of yoga. That’s what I did. I thought that it’s too ’slow’ for me.

However after a few weeks of yoga about 5 times a week, I see improvements in my muscles! Furthermore, you learn to breathe properly in yoga! If you have a chance, do give it a try! So I’ll go and enjoy my weekend now while it lasts! Have a nice weekend!
