Drink your soup!
I used to follow my mum to the temple back in Malaysia quite often. There’s this lady, an acquaintance of my mum, who visits the temple almost everyday. From her appearance, I’d guess she’s around 50yrs of age. But when I found out her real age from my mum, I was totally dumbfounded. Her real age was actually mid 60s. She can easily pass off as ten years younger. Her cheeks have this kind of healthy glow in it and she looks so energetic for her age. Her secret lies in the soup that she had everyday. So girls…don’t underestimate the power of a bowl of soup.
However being far away from home, I don’t have the pleasure to have my mum around to cook soup for me everyday
. Furthermore I don’t even have the time myself to cook soup after work everyday (I know it sounds like an excuse but it’s not). That leaves me only the weekend where I indulge in eating a balanced diet. My favorite soup of all 六味汤 or loosely translated ‘six spices soup’ because it’s concocted with six kind of spices. It’s especially healthy for female after the menstrual cycle.
So girls..have you had your soup today?

Hmmm…maybe I should make more chicken soup, huh..?
yea Chin..chicken soup is especially good for the soul too
