On top of the world

Well…almost . You think you can only find Notre Dame in Paris? Well, Marseille has its very own Notre-Dame de la Garde too! The basilica is located at the highest hill called La Garde of Marseille, it provides an incredible view of the city.

The interior of the basilica is just as imposing. The ceiling looks like it’s made of gold and decorated with model boats.

There were more tourists in there than those who really went there and pray.
