What’s wrong?
Oct 23, 2007 in All things me
I noticed that there’s something very wrong with me. Over the past few weekends, I have been getting this irritating throbbing pain above my left eye which I think is the first sign of recurring headache. What irks me the most is that the throbbing begins almost punctually on Friday evening, that’s when the weekend starts!
I know that my weekend will be completely ruined every time when I developed a headache on Friday evening because it’s like a continuous dull pain which lasted conveniently throughout the weekend.
Nothing I did seemed to relieve the throbbing.
- I tried sleeping the whole Saturday. It didn’t work and made me feel worse for wasting my whole Saturday.
- I tried yoga. The throbbing got worse.
- I tried not using my computer for the whole weekend. It didn’t work and made me yearning for my beloved Internet.
- I took some painkillers. It worked for about 4hrs and the throbbing began again.
- I tried to relax and read a book. It didn’t work.
- I tried to get jolly by playing Wii. It worked until I finish playing Wii.
- I tried to get out to have some fresh air. It didn’t work.
- I tried shopping and maybe spending some moolah is the antidote to my misery. It got worse.
Tell me what else should I try??????
Hmm..maybe I’ll try to have a long bath with some scented oil. Thorsten said that I’m having some sort of a work-withdrawal symptom because the headache will usually mysteriously disappear when I arrived at the office on Monday. I wonder if he’s right?

I guess it might sums up to “workachoholic”….
Oh no..It would be real sad if Thorsten is right….there, dear Loo said it all..
omg…you love your work so much?
arghhh…i just don’t wanna be a workaholic!!
