Of Pina Colada and Mango Daiquirí

I absolutely welcome all the hustle bustle of the pre-Christmas events for the past few days. Here’s a recap.
Sightseeing around Würzburg in 40mins and not to mention walking on high heels on the cobbled streets of Würzburg, trying very best to catch up with my German friends who are at least 30cms taller than me.
Quote ‘I’m short for my height‘ Unquote Lucy Liu from Lucky Number Slevin.
You see, when they walk a step, I have to walk two steps to follow up. So if they are in a hurry and walk a little faster, then I had to double my speed in order to catch up! Couldn’t feel my feet anymore at the end of the ‘trip’.
Had the most enjoyable eating experience to date. Tasted shark meat cooked in butter sauce for the first time! A kampong girl like me didn’t even know in the first place that other part of a shark can be eaten too because all she knew was shark’s fin soup served in Chinese restaurant.
Watched a live performance of classical music and I didn’t realized that classical music can be so entertaining and I enjoyed myself tremendously that night. Not only did the band, which made up of a quartet of beautiful and charming ladies, captured the absolute attention of the audience but they won us over as well with their coruscating humor and creative presentation. Classical music is cool!
Sang ‘Silent Night’ in front of a group of 200 people. It wasn’t so bad when 10 other unlucky guys sang together with you
. By the way, we had to sing in German of course. The song which is rather beautiful in English sounded somehow quite ‘twisted’ in German.
Pina Colada is a drink made in heaven. Washed the night away with another Mango Daiquirí and that’s all I needed to settle into a sweet sweet dream.
