Happy New Year 2008!!

Have a very Happy New Year 2008 everyone!!

Wishing you a joyous, prosperous and a great year ahead!

I spent my New Year’s Eve playing board game with Thorsten, his mum and his niece. It was a nice and quiet evening together.

As the clock struck 12, we corked open a bottle of sparkling wine to toast the coming of the new year.

Then we headed out and lighted fireworks. It was so beautiful and fun. I feel like a child again playing fireworks during Chinese New Year. I could feel that the new year ahead will be great :) .

We watched later on TV the countdown to new year in London. It was aired live at 1am local time in Germany where it was 12 midnight London time. The fireworks around London Eye was simply breathtaking.

    I watched the New Year countdown on TV, live from Times Square, New York. Nothing much. Went straight to bed afterwards.

    I watched the new year countdown in Times Square in the news too. There were so many people! Amazing..
