If you are a Malaysian, you are in Malaysia tomorrow and you are eligible to vote, don’t forget to exercise your rights tomorrow! Go to the polls! I have been reading with much interests on the Internet and in many blogs about the upcoming elections. It’s really a pity that I’m not able to vote.
A week ago, I received a mail from the Malaysian Embassy here to all Malaysian students regarding the upcoming election. Those who are eligible to vote overseas via postal voting are civil servants located overseas and also students doing their studies overseas and their spouses.
If I have to cast my vote, I’ll have to fly all the way back. When I told Thorsten about this, he couldn’t believe his ears. That sums up a lot about the whole system we have back home. There’s this excellent interview with two opposing candidates conducted by the infamous blogger itself. Go read it and judge for yourself.
So, you know what to do, vote wisely!
