How do I know that spring is here?

by Yen posted April 5, 2008 category C’est la vie

There’s this thing about doing the same thing, at almost about the same time, everyday. It makes you sort of blind to the little changes or happenings that might be there around you. Usually on my way to work, I’d sleep my way throughout the journey (Thorsten usually drives) or I’ll read a book.
FlowerThen the other day when I looked out of the car window, I noticed that those once winter-bare-branched trees have suddenly become alive again!
Colorful!I do really welcome the change of color in my surroundings now. How do you not love spring when tulips start blooming and your garden is full of colorful sprouting plants. I’m quite keen on gardening now. Maybe I’ll get some few pointers from Thorsten’s mom, who’s an avid gardener.
TulipsI can’t wait for warmer days to come :) .

  1. Yes yes I love spring and the beautiful flowers. This is one of the nice things living in a 4 sessions country. In my area most of the roundabout are decorated with flowers, especially tulips, I will say hello to them every time we pass by. :-)

Hey I really like the appearance of your blog. I wish I know how to do it but I’m too lazy to do it myself. :-)

  2. Nice ooo …. I like the pictures, they are beautiful … Oh, it’s spring there now … :) Enjoy ya ..

  3. Hi Bee Ean, thank you! All you need is some patience and time and a little bit of perseverence to build a website. I can’t agree with you more with the pleasure of living in a country which has 4 seasons. :)

    Hey pieceofmind, thank you! :)
