Garden series: Theme purple
I love the color purple or lavender. To my delight, if you’d noticed them from my previous posts from the garden series, there quite a number of flowers in the garden that are of these colors. As the spring progresses, I relish in the beauty of the mother nature as the garden continues to brandish its glory. The weather has been kind lately, offering a healthy mix of rain and sunshine.

There are some flowers that grow, which I don’t recall seeing them there last spring/summer. Actually they were there all these while but I was simply ignorant back then
.

I find these flowers amazing in their own ways, as they don’t grow for months long throughout spring but just flourish for a few weeks, flaunt their glory and then give way for other flowers for their chance of shining moments.

These lovely lavender buds above were surrounded by so many bees and bumblebees, that I gotta make sure not be too near to one. Some of those bumblebees are as big as my thumb!

These plants permeate lovely fragrances. I can never get bored of drinking in their scent every day. No wonder there are countless perfumes that derived their fragrance from plants. However I still find the natural scent of these flowers the loveliest. Not too pungent, not too strong. Just nice.
There are these purple daisies and those lovely orchid-like flowers below. They grow vertical from the ground, and they have these striking bluish mixed with a little trace of purple petals.

They have these tails behind them, which I thought they remind me of some dragonflies with their long bodies.

My favorite? They are these gorgeous purplish five pointed stars. I don’t know its name so I name it for myself
.
Dear, these pictures have sealed my heart so close to them… I wish I was walking in that garden!! I totally love the way you’ve captured the shots of these dainty beauties! I love everyone of them, especially the one that looks like dragonfly, the fusion of colors is amazing. This is one flower that I’ve never seen before, so thanks so much for sharing. =)
Oh yes, do you mind if I ask? How do you resize digital pictures without expense of its quality? I’m having a little problem with that.
Thank you Stardust. As for resizing the photos, I use Photoshop. After resizing the photo, I use Filter-> Sharpen-> Smart sharpen and the option remove lens blur (Amount 100% and Radius 0.2 pixel).
I hope this helps.
Hi, thanks for the advice! I managed to find out before I read your reply, but happy to learn more than just resizing. Not sure if I can try the trick, as I’m using a Jap version, hopefully it’s the same. Thanks again!
