Chasing away pigeons Are you wondering why is the broom hanging upside down underneath the roof? It’s not for decoration whatsoever. Think again.

I’ve noticed for the past few days, there laid some twigs mysteriously on the floor of the balcony every morning. I looked up and saw a pair of pigeons under the roof. They were trying unsuccessfully to build a nest on the horizontal girder. I guess the girder isn’t wide enough to hold the twigs, as they kept falling off it.

I’m not an animal hater but pigeons are not my favorite kind of animals either. Having them cooing the whole day under the roof and in such vicinity is impossible! So before they plan to build an entire generation of pigeon babies, I’m sorry I gotta take this step to chase them away.
