A special day
The 9th of June marks a special day for my boyfriend and me. We are celebrating some sort of anniversary but it’s not ‘our’ anniversary. Today marks the birthday of his mom and my mom. Talking about coincidence here or fate 
?
If you were to be in my shoes, which birthday dinners would you give your priority? Of course I would choose to celebrate my own mother’s birthday. However there is a conflict between the loyalty as a daughter and as a girlfriend. No doubt the role of a daughter is more important, right?
Luckily my mom follows the Chinese Lunar calendar and saves me the troubles of decision making 
. So what present would you choose for your boyfriend’s mother on her birthday? I used to stick to chocolates or wine…yawn. So I came up with the idea to give her a present which she has given me, the beauty of her garden.
The flowers from her own garden! 
I’ve taken hundreds of pictures from her garden and I’ve chosen the best shots and had them printed out and framed it. I haven’t posted some of those pictures in the garden series yet. Now she can still enjoy her ‘garden’ even on those winter days! She absolutely loves it .
As for my mom, I’m coming back this Saturday! Till then. Happy birthday, ma.
It’s your mum’s and his mum’s blessing to have a lovely daughter like you who ‘ has a heart ‘ for them. The picture frame is such a special gift, I’d be overwhelmed if I’m the one receiving it. Well done girl!
