Go Korean

I was in KL the other day and one of the purpose of my visit is to meet up with my ex-schoolmates! I try to make it as one of my many to-do things (when our schedule allows, you know my girlfriends are all so busy :P ) on my list when I return home. Another reason, well, is to eat the best Korean food in town!
BBQ It was my second time at the Daorae Restaurant and the quality of their food was still the same. One word. Great. There is not even one Korean restaurant at the place where I live in Germany and I think I have had eaten only twice some authentic-kick-ass-fiery Korean food all my life. So this time round, I know it has to be Korean food for our meeting up ;) .
Pretty girls and a guyThere is a wide variety of food to choose from and I think the reason it is called a BBQ restaurant is because the food is grilled directly in the middle of the table. A feature which I think is not so comfortable for the diners due to the direct heat of the burning charcoal in such proximity. My face was burning hot due to the heat and I was sweating like mad.
BibimbapWe ordered beef and pork meat for the grill, Bibimbap and a noodle hot plate (which I don’t know the name). I love all those Kimchi served together with the meal. They weren’t too spicy nor too sour.
Noodle hotplate This noodle hotplate was a little spicy and it was cooked with rice cakes and plenty of vegies. I haven’t eaten rice cakes before and didn’t know what to expect. However it was surprisingly good. It was really nice chatting over dinner, catching up on each other again. Some of us haven’t met each other for about 10yrs! The feeling was so familiar, seeing each other again, being ourselves, just like 10yrs ago.
UsWe adjourned to a nearby pub for a drink later on, carrying on with our strings of laughters into the night, telling each other lame jokes, looking for an astronaut on the 5MYR bill (who would have thought of that in the first place?) and giggling at the lameness of it. Girls, how I wish we could do this more often.
