During an outing last weekend on our bikes
We cycled by this field
Planted with plentiful of sunflowers
They stretched out as far as my eyes could see
I was sure they weren’t there last summer
My rather gloomy mood, dampened by the chilly summer weather
Was immediately lifted
Delighted by the serendipitous discovery
Charmed by the swaying of the stalks
Beckoned by the [...]
