First, parrots of this size are called &#039; lovebirds &#039;, in some languages, &#039; Inseperables &#039;.  I love these a plenty lot, for their endearing display of affection.  Love that pict that caught them kissing. 

It is very sad indeed to see them behind cages.  I agree with you that no animals should be caged for selfish admiration.  They&#039;re not even pets, not doted on, and given meagre food to keep alive.  Those wings are not given for flight within the caged compound. So sad.</description>
