Is there garlic that doesn’t smell?
Do you belong to those who eat garlic during weekends? Why only weekends? Apparently this is a known issue here in Germany where some choose to eat garlic during weekends so that the aftermath of garlic breath is not that noticeable (and embarrassing) when they return to work on Monday
.
It’s freaking annoying that German noses are über-sensitive to any smell related to garlic. I came across an article about this special kind of garlic called Peking Garlic that allegedly doesn’t seem to have quite a strong aftermath odor like normal garlic. They have slight pinkish streaks on the outer skin and are roundish in shape.
The article however states that eventually it still depends on the individuals, how their bodies digest and break down the complex compound of garlic. Maybe I’ll try these out
.
That peking garlic looks like after peeled big onion to me.
I love garlics too…especially fried garlic or chopped raw garlic together with hakka mee…yummy…
Oh, I’ve had these before… but I’ve forgotten if it carries a stench. =P I hope it works for you!
