I’d love to drive these

I think most of us still remember what kind of cars we used to drive during our very first driving lessons. I used to drive the tiny Kancil (one of our many national cars) for my driving lessons in Malaysia.
I guess that was really the standard car used by many driving schools during my time in my hometown because I couldn’t recall seeing any other cars used for this purpose.
So, imagine how wide my eyes popped open when I saw people here get to drive this, a BMW 1 series no less, for driving lessons.
Or an Audi A3 Sportpac.
Perhaps these cars for them are like Kancil for us Malaysian, but I was still like, w-o-w. Me want! Oh well, they use Mercedes as taxis and BMWs as police cars, so I shouldn’t be surprised.

During my time in the late 80’s, I drove those old Datsun cars, can’t recall the model, no air-conditioning nor power steering. A complete sauna after each lesson.
