They say, listen to the elders
I was all dressed up for my routine evening jog. As I took a peek out of the window, I saw fat, dark, unfriendly clouds approaching us at high speed in the horizon. I was weighing my options whether to risk being caught in a downpour or maybe it was just another (extremely) cloudy evening. T’s mom was happily watering her plants in the garden saying it won’t be raining for awhile. Ah, well. I decided to trust her instinct. You know what, it’s usually not a bad idea at all, listening to the elders. There wasn’t as much as a drop of rain from the sky. I was glad I didn’t let those misleading clouds to ruin, what would have been a refreshing evening jog. And it was.
You jog, no wonder you are so fit and trim!
When I see dark clouds forming in the sky while getting ready to walk the dogs, I will ask hubs for his opinion, too, since he has live here most of his life and he is always right!
Dawn, hahaha, I think I’m clever in hiding all the fat only
. Yea, I think the locals usually know the best.
