May’s wanderlust
During Labour Day, we had a chance to meet up with a girl friend, who’s living in another city. The city was brimming with life as the sunny weather enticed and lured us out of the house. People were sunning themselves at cafés by the river, simply content watching the world rolls by.
It was high time that we finally meet again. I can’t believe myself that work can sometimes really deprive us from all kind of social activities due to time constraint. Even what surprised me more is that our topic of conversations seemed to have changed a lot compared to a few years ago.
Our girlish enthusiasm on fashion and shopping seemed to have taken a lesser role in our lives. Instead. Coffee machines, tea sets, house curtains and the plants in the gardens appear to be more interesting. OMG, did I mention tea sets? Does age actually do this to us?
Talking about getting domesticated and turning into a hausfrau! But living a white-picket fence life doesn’t sound too bad, no?
Oops, I think I haven’t mentioned which city I’ve been to. Can you guess?
Thanks for dropping by to my once a year posting…hehhe…I definitely could not amke out which city you went, as it is totally unfamiliar…..:P so, where??
Loo, hope you’ll be blogging more often
! The city is Koblenz, situated by the Rhine river.
You’re wearing short sleeves already? Wow! And ice-cream!!
Glad that you manage to catch up with the gals. People who’ll have exchange with you from fashion to tea sets. Yikes, tea sets!! =P
