..are the best! I absolutely love strawberries and each time come spring, I’d very much look forward to these delectable strawberries produced locally. Although we can find strawberries imported from Spain, Italy or Greece as early as March in supermarkets, personally I find that locally grown strawberries taste the best, which means sometimes we have to wait till late/middle spring to buy them from local farms. I love it best when I can pick those strawberries myself because sometimes there might be a few decayed ones hidden amongst those store-bought strawberries. Furthermore they are usually cheaper when you have the time to hand-pick them yourself. Finding some juicy red strawberries hidden beneath those straws was too much fun. I’ll squeal with delight when I managed to unearth some succulent, big, fat ones from under the groves. Yummm….can spring taste any better?
