Nope I don’t have a heartbreak. My relationship is going great. In fact everything is going on so smoothly that I yearn for some CHANGE! Actually I was getting bored with my long, limp, straight hair. I get asked quite often whether I flattened my hair because they were so straight! The truth is, no and I prefer my hair to have some volume in it rather than have them flat and limp.

Since I had way too much time last week, I browsed through some new hair styles because I decided that it was time to do something about my hair. So I paid an impromptu visit to my hairdresser last Saturday and as I hopped onto one of the empty chair, I quickly explained what I wanted before losing my nerves and chickened out. She deliberated for a second, asked some details and then started working away.

Soon inches of long hair started falling to the floor and when she began to meticulously shave those baby hair down the back of my neck with a razor, I started wondering whether it was a good idea after all.

When she was done and began blow-drying my hair, I looked at the person in the mirror, who’s staring back at me and realised that I LOVE the new haircut!

Bf took one look at me and said ‘Have I gotten myself a new girlfriend?’
