Retail therapy in London
I was in London a couple of days ago to undergo an intensive retail therapy session! Actually I was itching to be there for the famed Boxing Day sale. Alas, Boxing Day was too long for me to wait (I know, I can be very impatient
) and I was not surprised to see so many shops have already launched their post Christmas sales before Christmas, what with the economic situation and people weren’t too ready to spend freely.
However, a walk along Oxford Street convinced me that economic woes were far from the minds of the shoppers that thronged the stores. Bargain hunters like me were everywhere. The crowd, the atmosphere were all so exhilarating. Although the weather was less than friendly for a couple of days, with rains and sleets drenching my boots, I was completely unfazed. Although I gotta admit it did dampen my mood a little to do some touristy thingy.
I managed to grab a few bargains although sadly, five days are just too short for each and every shop in Oxford Street! Topshop alone has four flours in its flagship on Oxford Street! I could really spend hours just in Topshop alone! I’ve brought along a list of stuffs I wanted to buy in London but I ended up with a completely different set of goodies, no less. Bf said, why wasn’t he surpirsed?
Merry Christmas to you.
wow, seemed that you have bought a lot of clothes from Topshop.
