I spot you!
While tending to my plants a few days ago, I saw ‘something’ hiding beneath the baby parsley. A snail is lurking amongst my precious herb garden! But according to bf’s mother, snails with coiled shells post no harm to plants. The real culprit is those snails without shells (or literally known ‘naked’ snail in German [...]
Chin up
It was one of those spur of the moments tactlessness. What was supposed to be thoroughly thought, turned out to be a blunder. Time to gauge the severity of the damage done. The humble pie has never been tastier this time round but somehow, I wonder how many glasses of water will suffice to wash [...]
Let Sunday be Sunday
The sky was perpetually painted in a coat of light grey and it was one of those days when the sun is too shy to show itself. I took comfort in the fact that the morning would be at least rainless. Claustrophobic antsy-ness drove me into the garage and I took out my bike. Without [...]

Back then, the bookish side of me couldn’t really imagine reading a book without the feel of paper on my fingertips nor the familiar musty [...]
Under the cherry blossoms
Come every spring, I would look forward very much to my neighbour’s garden because he has this huge cherry tree which never fails to flower en masse into lovely, pinkish-sweet cherry blossoms. This luxurious display of cherry blossoms would last for probably two weeks at most before the petals slowly dry up and shed its [...]

Back to reality
Spring hasn’t really arrived yet. The much yearned for blue sky and sunshine in spring are more often than not obliterated by heaps of dark clouds rolling past the skies of Germany coupled by some unusually low temperatures at this time of the year. Being back after my three ‘short’ weeks at home, I’m missing [...]
